Fall in Ontario

For the past month, I’ve been busy photographing and editing. This year has brought on milder weather in the fall and has allowed many Ontarians to go out and enjoy the changing of colours. The weather has now only come down to its normal range of 6°c – 9°C. Rattlesnake Point in Milton connects to the Bruce trail. It is part of the Niagara escarpment that runs 885km from the Niagara region to Tobermory in Northern Ontario. It links many parks and has some campgrounds along the way. They also host many events for families, even in winter. During a very warm Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, thousands of people came to at least a portion of the trails according to an employee. For those who wish to walk part or the whole trail can do so with provided trail maps. The length of time it takes to complete it is up to you with a minimum completion time of 30 days. There are also some opportunities to rock climb. There are hooks for harnesses to latch onto. Here are some of what I captured.

Although Chudleigh’s Farm is one of the most famous apple farms started by a prominent family, there are other farms around Milton. These photos are taken at Springridge Farm.

Nikon D7000 allows photographs to be turned into sketches using the editing tool right in the camera. This photograph is the same apple photo from above turned into a sketch. Below the apple photo is a display of gourds photographed and turned into a sketch.

Daisies still in bloom today in my garden, but you can see it’s starting to wilt. Today’s temperature: 9°C.
